Sadie Amara Calvano was born in America. She is best known for her role as Violet Plunkett from the CBS comedy series 'Mom.' Calvano is from California and initially was intrigued by athletics. Later, however, Calvano determined to pursue a career in acting. Her first screen appearance was an episode from 2010 on CBS's 'NCIS'. The actress made her debut on the big screen one year later with the biographical film "J Edgar". She is now one of the hottest actresses in recent years. She received nominated in the Young Artist Award, Best Performance of a Young Actress in a Television Series for her role in the show "NCIS". The actress was also nominated 2013 for an additional Young Artist Award, this time due to her performance as a guest star on Disney XD's comedic series "Kickin' It". The year 2015 was the year she was awarded the Gracie Allen Award of Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star for her performance in Mom.
