Kellie M. Martin is an American actor and actress in the film and television industries. Her most well-known role is for her roles as Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher as well as Lucy Knight on the series ER. Kellie Martin is most well-known for her performance as a protagonist of the Hailey Dean Mystery Series. Martin is the daughter of a department-store buyer and kindergarten teacher, began her career in acting when she was seven when her aunt who worked as the nanny of Michael Landon's kids helped Martin to get her a character in the 1983's show "Father Murphy". After graduating of Yale University, she took acting seriously and was able to land important roles on the small and the big screen. Martin is, in addition to acting, she is also a talented photographer as well as a ballet dancer. Martin is the mother of two children and is the official spokesperson for Lupus. After her 19-year-old sister's death Martin has been trying to educate people about the condition.
