In the beginning of high school, Sasha was a transsexual and came out to the world as such. These were tough years, but Sasha was confident that with the help of his family and the music he could handle anything. Jim and Sasha are both song writers and are just beginning to form an official band. Since then they've appeared in various local events, such as open mics. While The Voice coaches did not discuss Sasha's backstory, he as well as Jim shared their life journey through a short introduction clip that was played prior to their show. Sasha and Jim spoke about their favorite music and how they first began playing guitar at the age of six. The fact that his father was a music teacher made it easier for Sasha to become proficient in the art. Sasha was a woman born in the United States and had a hard time finding his identity when he was an infant. In a recent post to Facebook, the 11-year old man opened up and talked about his challenges. Jim was overcome with tears as he described why he could not be part of these trying times. Sasha Allen was born when she was a girl. Sasha Allen turns 19 in 2021. Sasha started to change from male to female when he started the high school.
